Hello, I am curious about this polypropylene rug thing. I found rugs that are made of 100% polypropylene and they feel as plush as the wool rugs that i have inside my home. They dont have any special backing on them, but the label says 100% polypropylene. Does this mean that i can use it outside. Oh, I am in Upstate NY and the rugs were seen in the Ollies Store. The sales person at this store says that they are sold as indoor rugs, so he thought that maybe the weave might have something to do with collecting mold and or holding water. The outdoor rugs that they do have are the "Grassy style" and they had rubber backing. I thought that the rubber would hold the water in, now I realize that it is a plastic rug, but still these 100% polypropylene rugs that they have would look beautiful on my patio and the prices were right, they look almost nicer than the wool oriental inside my home. Can you advise me of any problem with buying them as long as the label says 100% polypropylene. THANKS ALOT......
